Job Description

CDR Maguire Inc., a national engineering, health amp; medical and emergency management firm, is seeking individuals who are interested in working as a Clinical Specialist within the state of Florida in the Orlando area. This position is responsible for medical care of patients at COVID testing site. Potentially Including but not limited to:


  • Obtain specimens from patients through various specimen collection methods, including but not limited to, nasal, nasopharyngeal, and oral swabbing
  • Recording a patient's medical information accurately
  • Prepare test collection materials and administer COVID-19 test
  • Back-up relief for all staff positions as needed
  • Must have the ability to lift 20lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • Adhere to all company policies and rules
  • Perform specific tasks as requested by the incident commander or supervisor
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
  • Communicate with patient's family or friends to provide advice, comfort and instructions
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. as needed
  • Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
  • Work directly with point of care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration and maintenance

Requirements

Education may be any of the following:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistance license with the State of Florida (CNA)

Also:

  • Minimum ASN and/or BSN preferred
  • Proven experience as CNA for at least 3-5 years
  • Charge nursing experience preferred
  • Hold a current Florida CNA License in good standing
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and current COVID infection control standards and procedures and ability to comply
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
  • Above average physical condition and stamina
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress
  • Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 pounds
  • Must submit to and pass a drug screen, background check
  • Ability to provide Form I-9 documents that shows your identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Other duties which may arise that commensurate with the title and position
