Job Description

The Marketing Communications Manager is a new and crucial role to help enhance company communications and keep employees engaged and informed through managing internal communications. The company is growing and expanding quickly and there is a critical need for ongoing company-wide communications through the development and implementation of written content, communications programs, and publishing content via internal communications platforms such as email announcements, the intranet portal, and other messaging channels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for messaging, working closely with leadership in corporate, regions and practices
  • Provide communications support for strategic initiatives and managing internal communications channels
  • Support executive communications including developing content for company announcements, employee presentations, video messages, and town hall meetings
  • Provide marketing and communications support for internal stakeholders, particularly human resources and recruiting to support both employee communications, and help position Risk Strategies externally as a workplace destination
  • Proactively initiate writing and promoting Risk Strategies employee spotlight program to highlight our expertise and promote new hires
  • Provide marketing support to help onboard new employees, and provide company content and overview materials
  • Engage in marketing and communications support for strategic company programs such as Diversity and Inclusion, and Community and philanthropic programs
  • Serve as the editor and content manager for the company’s intranet and collaborate with stakeholders to build out a longer term strategy for an improved Knowledge Center
  • Uphold the brand and ensure current and new employees understand the company’s brand voice, culture and core values

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ communications
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator with 8 + years of B2B marketing experience
  • A broad knowledge of the insurance or consulting services industry
  • Knowledge and familiarity with all forms of existing and emerging communications opportunities across web, email, and social media platforms
  • The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, be highly organized, show strong initiative, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced work setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills, effective writing, editing and proof reading skills
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS in Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, social media/web platforms
  • Ability to work closely with graphic designers: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
