Job Overview

As Olive matures and the breadth and complexity of our customer partnerships and buying needs grows, we have a need to expand our Finance operations to include a leader in Procurement services. This role is responsible for the development and execution of Olive’s strategy and governance of all Procurement Operations (PO) activities. Ideal candidates will be able to effectively engage and influence various leaders to drive PO workflow best practices, strong strategic supplier/vendor relationships, define/measure savings and minimize risk to Olive.

This role will be responsible for the development and execution of all Olive procurement policies and strategies, by ensuring the value of procurement is captured through the enforcement of governance across the organization while leveraging spend analytics, relationships with suppliers/vendors and providing program management oversight. In addition, the individual is responsible for ensuring the end-to-end sourcing and procurement lifecycle operates in an efficient and effective manner through process redesign, technological solution implementation and standardization. This role will operate as a partner to our business units with a direct link to the accounting and finance functions, reporting directly to the Controller.

Requirements

  • Develop Olive’s procurement policies and strategy
  • Provide strategic direction for Olive’s Procurement Operations by developing and executing on PO transformation initiatives through new technology solutions and operational workflow redesign
  • Design and implement controls and safeguards within the PO lifecycle to enhance our operating effectiveness
  • Facilitate the effective management amp; execution of PO activities across the enterprise via education on appropriate buying channels, policies amp; processes
  • Optimize supplier relationships by understanding the terms amp; pricing of supplier contracts, defining buying channels and ensuring compliance to purchasing policies
  • Develop a means to measure and track the value and overall effectiveness of the PO organization, and manage continuous improvement and streamlining of processes to provide cost efficient and effective support to the business
  • Identify, manage, and respond to any specific supplier/vendor requirements
  • Develop, encourage and ensure adherence to all policies and contracts which support the overall business objectives of the PO organization
  • Support business owners and users by addressing vendor performance issues and risk events

Benefits

  • 5+ years’ of operations, program and project management, vendor/supplier management or relevant sourcing/procurement experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Detailed sourcing and procurement process knowledge
  • Experience in implementing an industry leading procurement software
  • Familiarity with SaaS and vendor agreements
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Positive attitude with high EQ, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to manage time effectively and establish priorities independently
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, distributed, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Healthcare or technology experience preferred
  • Preferred certifications: CPM, CPSM, COP
