As our a Sales Development Representative you will have a significant impact on accelerating atSpoke’s growth. You will be responsible for building pipeline and increasing potential revenue for the company, as you will act as the first interaction for prospective customers.
As a critical early-stage hire in a dynamic startup, you will join a team of professionals focused on scaling and growing customer base and business, and will have the opportunity to influence the approach and strategic direction.
This role is perfect for someone who is motivated and interested in beginning a career in the SaaS sales space, and can efficiently work cross functionally. Responsibilities
  • Grow atSpoke’s pipeline through actively pursuing and converting a combination of inbound/outbound leads (e.g., chats, free trial and cold calls) into qualified leadsPartner with account executives to successfully transition qualified leads and optimize relationship building opportunity
  • Work closely with your manager and account executives to track and meet monthly and quarterly prospecting goalsIdentify target accounts with strategic timing and strong use casesIdentify creative ways to gain access and build trust with prospective customers
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues on best practices and process improvements
  • Collaborate with Marketing on messaging and projects to drive revenuePractice effective time management and prioritize activities to optimize workflow
  • Attending weekly team, and all employee meetings to understand the why behind your work, and the impact it has on atSpoke
Requirements
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • A desire to have a long term career in sales
  • Experience with persuasion and objection handling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to receive and implement feedbackPrior experience in Sales is a plus
  • Prior experience with cold calling is a plus
