Salisbury Management, LLC provides an array of professional administrative services to the education focused companies within Salisbury House. We allow the companies we serve to do what they do best: provide quality care and services, while we focus on the professional, operational, and management services.

We are currently seeking a CorporateRecruiter (Remote), reporting under the Talent Management Department. The Recruiter works with our diverse special education schools across 4 states to coordinate, standardize, and expand recruiting practices to decrease staff vacancies and develop a network of talent. The recruiter will oversee the applicant tracking system, manage job postings in a variety of platforms, identify and screen qualified candidates, and perform creative applicant sourcing of both active and passive job seekers for a variety of positions.

Candidate must live in the Lancaster, Harrisburg, or Reading Pennsylvania region.

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Assist with the standardization and monitoring of the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Serve as administrator to the applicant tracking system
  • Provide training and guidance to office managers and hiring managers to effectively utilize recruiting tools and regarding best practices in recruitment methods
  • Use creative applicant sourcing methods to develop a pipeline of candidates to meet ongoing organizational needs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to address critical and hard to fill vacancies, as well as high volume vacancies
  • Assist in the development of recruitment materials, job postings amp; manage job postings in a variety of platforms
  • Attend career fairs, develop relationships with colleges and universities, make connections with workforce agencies, and identify networking events to attend
  • Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screening of applicants and coordinate interview process
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes against open position key performance indicators
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to management

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, while balancing multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Comfort talking with individuals of diverse backgrounds to screen for key skills and abilities
  • Ability to review and analyze resumes for relevant knowledge, skills, and experience

Technical Skills:

  • This position requires a very high level of technical acumen and an ability to master multiple software solutions quickly
  • Familiarity with online job-hunting websites
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Prior knowledge/experience with Applicant Tracking Systems

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years’ experience performing recruitment activities as a primary job responsibility
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience performing recruitment or human resources activities in education, special education, or behavioral health fields
  • Ability to travel when necessary (less than 10%; mileage reimbursed)
  • Available to work non-traditional hours as necessary to meet the needs of the organization (attend career fairs, schedule calls outside of normal business hours, etc.)
  • Home office with private and quiet workspace to perform duties remotely as necessitated by environmental or organizational needs
