USA Clinics Group is growing and looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to our Illinois team!

Job Description:

• The Nurse Practitioner performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• May participate in performance improvement, research and educational activities.
• Perform patient histories and physical examinations.
• Initiates, documents and communicates the plan of care.
• Orders and interprets for laboratory work and diagnostic tests.
• Interprets laboratory and test results.
• Confers with physicians, technicians, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.
• Upon discharge, notes discharge summaries, prescriptions and any referrals on patient charts.
• Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
• Facilitate the quick and efficient execution of the day.
• The NP will have the opportunity to learn, assist and perform the full gamete of vein and vascular out-patient procedures (i.e. sclerotherapy, EVLT and Fibroid Embolization.)
• Expected to work in all Illinois locations as scheduled.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Graduate of an accredited program is required.
• Current Certification for NP
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
