Extremely rare opportunity for a new Marketing Director.

Are you someone who thinks you could be the leader of a large marketing team if you were given the opportunity?

We are a fast-growing company (350% in 2020) with only 30 employees, with only one marketer/dev on our marketing team. We are looking for someone to build a marketing department from the ground up.


Pros:

  • Learn and grow in 2 years what would take 10 at another company.
  • Limble is growing crazy fast. Currently at $3 mil ARR and we were at $740k ARR at the start of 2020. In 2020 we grew 3.5x without cash investments.
  • Accomplished this with an amazing product and an amazing team, but surprisingly we only have 1 Marketer on our team.

  • Amazing Customer Reviews Capterra 4.9/5 stars, G2 5/5 stars.
  • A ton of solid framework already in place (strong SEO, strong case studies, extremely loyal customers).
  • If you execute well, you could establish yourself as the head of marketing at Limble.

Cons:

  • There isn’t structure around the marketing department yet. Marketing has mostly been handled by our CEO and so the department needs to be built.
  • While there is a great budget to back the growth of Limble we don’t burn millions of dollars to get growth. One of our core values is being scrappy. Every marketing effort will be measured for ROI.
  • Startup life is hard work. While we don’t ask employees to work crazy hours Limble is not the typical get-paid-to-sit-on-your-ass job. Our team is passionate about serving our customers and helping each other succeed. If you are not passionate about your work you will not fit in here.
  • You will have to fail quick, iterate fast and learn. For most people this can be overwhelming and very stressful. If you think making mistakes is a bad thing and you can’t learn from your mistakes quickly this is not the place for you.
  • Limble is extremely merit-based and results-driven. If you are not an A-player that can thrive on the pressure to perform, then this is not the place for you.
  • You will have to absorb a crazy amount of information very quickly. If you do not have passion to learn new and challenging things then this is not the place for you.

As our first Digital Marketer, you will create our first Marketing campaigns and in essence set up our Marketing department. You will be joining our fast-growing team and be responsible for generating B2B Marketing Qualified Leads(MQLs) through a variety of channels including but not limited to: Content Marketing SEO, PPC (Google, Linkedin, etc.), Email Marketing, etc.

What You'll Do

  • Work with new and existing Limble CMMS customers to understand their unique pains, point of views, and challenges
  • Responsible for the creation of digital assets that deliver real value to the reader (blogs, articles, email campaigns, guides, etc.)
  • Responsible for setting up and executing on paid marketing channels (Google, Bing, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Responsible for executing email campaigns
  • Generate and manage multi channel marketing campaigns (email to blog to PPC/social)
  • Track campaign and channel performance daily, with reportable KPIs via software such as google analytics
  • Ideate, manage, and execute A/B tests with the goal of CRO
  • Invent and execute a variety of new testable marketing campaigns. The crazier the better. We need to be unique to stand out from the competition.
  • Coordinate with Sales and leadership to determine overall marketing strategy
  • Stay current with not only Marketing best practices, but maintenance best practices

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recent experience B2B marketing
  • 2+ years in SaaS industry
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools (Hubspot, etc.)
  • Experience leading teams
  • Nice to have - Background in working with equipment maintenance, machinery, or manufacturing companies
