Be part of our mission to disrupt the healthcare and democratize the data driven medicine! SOPHiA is looking for a Director, Global Talent Acquisition to join the TalentAcquisition team in Boston, United States.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for driving innovation and operational efficiencies to create a best in class Talent Acquisition organization. You will design and develop a scalable recruiting strategy to attract, source and hire the best talents by managing Talent Acquisition teams in Europe and USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment process and provide day-to-day guidance to Talent Acquisition teams to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Lead all sourcing strategies and provide creative solutions and innovative tools.
  • Build strong candidate pipeline and develop a network of potential future hires.
  • Manage hiring efforts for Executive positions and other highly strategic positions.
  • Partner closely with Business Leaders to understand their hiring needs and provide a recruitment strategy that is aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process.
  • Provide training and education to Hiring Managers on the recruiting process, interview techniques, effective networking strategies, etc.
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience, including application, interviews and communication.
  • Cultivate a superior candidate experience that is reflective of our culture unique to the marketplace.
  • Create effective development of candidate attraction methods e.g. conferences, networking opportunities, social media campaigns, etc. to increase candidate’s interest.
  • Participate in and host recruitment events and career fairs to drive awareness and enhance employer branding.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with universities and engineering schools.
  • Evaluate, select and manage recruitment agencies. Control and track costs, measure effectiveness and ensure compliance with negotiated agreements.
  • Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire etc.
  • Prepare and track recruitment budget and ensure delivery on hiring plans.
  • Manage, train and develop the Talent Acquisition team members.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, including new and innovative recruiting strategies, systems and technologies; make recommendations and drive continuous improvement in global Talent Acquisition practices.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
  • Min. 5-8 years of experience in a similar role in a Tech environment.
  • Experience scaling Talent Acquisition organizations, specifically within the Tech industry.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing recruiting strategies that yield hiring results, particularly for Engineering, Data Science, Product Management and Sales roles.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing high performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Very good communication skills to cultivate and manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools e.g. social networks.
  • Excellent leadership skills and experienced in managing teams in different regions.
