A cancer diagnosis is something no one wants to hear. Too often, cancer is detected late, once it has spread and treatment options are limited. But cancer can be more effectively treated with an intent to cure if caught in the earlier stages. At Thrive, an Exact Sciences Company, our goal is to transform this outlook: to catch cancer earlier, including several with no screening options today, to improve patient outcomes. We are developing a blood-based test that is designed to be affordable and utilized as part of routine medical care to detect multiple types of cancer at earlier stages. Our approach goes beyond a cancer diagnosis. We are developing a platform that will serve as a resource to help patients and their families maneuver the often confusing and overwhelming path that follows a cancer diagnosis.

The RoleThe Director of Business Unit Operations amp; Effectiveness is a key partner to the General Manager and Thrive Senior Leaders to help the business unit run more effectively.
Major Responsibilities· Develop, maintain, and distribute dashboards related to key business metrics and key initiatives aligned to core priorities.· Develop materials to support communication of key messages and business metrics and performance updates to Exact Board of Directors, Exact Leadership Team, the Thrive Business Unit, and other stakeholders as appropriate.· Support the development of leadership team agendas.· Support the establishment of effective operating models, planning processes, and operational efficiency.· Support the identification of business unit performance risks and potential opportunities and/or accelerators.· Effectively compile and communicate information and key insights to leadership or stakeholders verbally, visually, and in writing.· Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed.Requirements and Qualifications- Strong analytical skills, business intuition, and ability to build alignment across functions.- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.- Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.- Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.- Demonstrated track record of getting things done.- Experience in diagnostics strongly preferred.- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
