Accounting is the backbone of the Life is Good financial foundation and you will independently manage all accounts payable activities. Your work and the way you do it will make an important contribution to our success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up new vendors in ERP Accounts Payable (AP) system
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and proper application of generally accepted accounting principles
Ensure proper sign off of vendor invoices before coding invoices and data entering them in ERP AP system
Match up inventory and non-inventory receiving documents with vendor invoices and enter them in the ERP AP system
Work with Controller to cut a weekly check run and maintain proper documentation of payments
Ensure proper cutoff of AP invoices for month-end financial close
Reconcile vendor statements to AP vendor account, quickly correct all discrepancies and inform Controller of issues
Prepare and send out annual 1099 forms
Use Expensify software to code Amex credit card statements, employee expense reports, and post to General Ledger
Your Experience and Qualifications:
You have college-level experience in Accounting or Finance, B.S. preferred
You have 5+ years of relevant work experience
You have experience with Accounts Payable systems; SAP experience a plus
You have expert-level mastery of the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
