YOUR OBJECTIVE

You manage all aspects of our Direct to Garment production operation.You motivate the production team to ensure production and processes are operating in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while ensuring a high-quality product. You drive daily production metrics and strive for continuous process improvements as this business grows. You create and manage budgets, assess production staffing needs, forecast trends and deploy or adjust as required.


YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in and conduct regular meetings with senior management as well as supervisors to communicate changing demands
  • Manage team, prepare work schedules, assignments, and overtime to meet weekly and monthly production output and budget goals
  • Manage team leads for our four shifts: First, Second, Third and Weekend
  • Interview, select and oversee the training of supervisory and production team; develop individual and departmental annual goals; follow through with performance reviews
  • Work directly with temporary labor agencies to staff for busy production seasons
  • Create and execute routine preventative maintenance on all machinery, including all direct-to-garment printing equipment with a combination of in-house and outside technical resources
  • Troubleshoot direct-to-garment machinery related issues and effectively administer break-fix diagnostics internally or with assistance of outside technical resources in timely manner
  • Proactively identify opportunities and risks within each work area and develop action plans to drive progress and improve results
  • Develop and implement training programs for production; establish and monitor performance benchmarks
  • Allocate resources, both human and material for the successful production of orders and projects; manage spare parts inventory, printing supplies, and ink/fluids
  • Build and adhere to a budget for staffing, maintenance, and supplies; report monthly and annually
  • Research and make recommendations regarding new technology and how its implementation would further develop direct-to-garment printing throughput and Ramp;D
  • Enforce the safety program and ensure all policies are followed

Requirements

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • You have the knowledge and experience to effectively lead a production team
  • You have several years of hands-on experience with digital direct-to-garment or relevant screen-printing
  • You have the technical aptitude, knowledge and desire to repair complex equipment

You are self-motivated and capable of working independently

You have a keen eye for detail and an ability to analyze production processes

  • You demonstrate effective analytical skill and aptitude
  • You have a deep working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
  • You know how to use SAP to accomplish your work
  • You effective manage technical, operational and organizational projects

You can perform physical activities such as lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds in-frequently

  • You have a valid drivers license
