Customer Engineering Manager

As a Customer Engineer at Biofourmis you act as the glue that binds the operations team with the customer on one hand and with the internal product and engineering teams on the other. You are the technical point of contact for a customer. You are engaged from the very first discovery conversation where you explore what the customer is looking to achieve or the issues faced by customer. You take that introduction to identifying the solution, building and suggesting the right architecture, engaging the right partner, demonstrating the idea, presenting the solution to multiple stakeholders, executing a proof of concept, and finally overseeing it all while the dream gets implemented.

People and Technology:

There will be a direct interaction between the customer engineers and the internal product and engineering team. The engineering team is comprise of UX/UI, Mobile -iOS, Android, Backend - NodeJS, Python, Golang, Web-Angular, HTML/CSS,, QA and Devops team. These internal teams are always willing to support a customer use case and brainstorm new ideas.


Responsibilities

  • Spot areas of potential improvement in the program, understand the escalation done by customers or operations team
  • Contribute new features and fixes in any one of the technical field for the Biovitals platform and programs.
  • Work with VP of DevOps to manage customer engineering technical team
  • Work in a dynamic and fast paced environment where change is constantly a way to accelerate


Requirements

  • Active or previous hands on software engineering development background either in NodeJS, Python, Swift, Kotlin or Java
  • Ability to manage technical team and do code reviews
  • Prior experience of managing customers on product requirement, change requests, and L3 support
