Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end digital signal processing amp; machine learning algorithms and data analytic solutions in Matlab or Python languages applied for complex biosensor and actigraphy signals
- Design and prepare clinical amp; laboratory study proposals for feasibility, development and validation
- Design, iterate, and optimize algorithmic processes and systems to achieve best in class computational efficiency and clinical performance
- Evaluate and establish safety and effectiveness
- Prepare technical reports for the algorithm implementations, and verification amp; validation
- Demonstrate and present to the cross functional teams and management
- Contribute to the company's intellectual property and publications
Requirements
- At least 3 years of first-hand experience in developing biosensor solutions and analyzing biosensor signals or heath data
- PhD/MS in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline or research experience
- Solid background in digital signal processing, statistical modelling and machine learning
- Proficient with programming in Matlab, Python and/or C/C++
- Prior experience in embedded sensor development is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Follows good software development practices
- Familiar with version control tools such as git and bitbucket
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good track record with patents and/or publications
