Job Description
Diamond Foundry Inc. is one of fastest growing, profitable technology startups. Creating the future of diamonds for jewelry and semiconductor applications, we use proprietary plasma reactor technology to produce high-quality diamond without carbon footprint and sell diamond jewelry online via our VRAI direct-to-consumer brand.
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to develop software tools and dataflow to support production operations. Our manufacturing process is highly data driven, and our software tools make that possible by following the material from end to end. You'll be working with an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, metrology, and software engineers; both assisting senior engineers and taking responsibility for your own engineering projects. Your goal will be to achieve maximum productivity for our production line through developing performant backend code, clear and intuitive frontend interfaces, and ensuring smooth and secure data flow throughout.Responsibilities:- Leading the design, architecture, development, and deployment of new interfaces for handling material
- Enhancing performance of backend business algorithms and adding new functionality as needed
- Identifying bottlenecks and interruptions to process and data flow and developing solutions to prevent their recurrence.
- Collaborating with end users to translate feature requests into actionable software design
- Organizing and maintaining documentation so others are able to understand and use it
- Follow security standards and best practices for data storage, transfer
- Sourcing system components from software vendors where appropriate
- Performing data correction and providing data correction tools to enable a self sustaining dataset
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar engineering discipline
- 3+ years of software engineering or computer science experience
A qualified candidate will have a subset of these skills:- Software: Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, C#, C++
- Expertise with core web technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, Web Services, Web Servers, Caching
- Strong communication and data presentation skills, experience analyzing data and communicating the results to senior business leaders
- Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders
- Operational knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms
- Resourceful, self-managed, detail-oriented and can think on your feet
- Problem solver and can easily find resolutions
- Positive, patient, and empathetic attitude are very important
- Team player, willing to assist wherever necessary
