Our Digital Web Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and troubleshooting digital web Printing Press to meet daily production and quality goals in a safe and efficient manner. The Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Digital printing industry, specifically with an understanding of variable web printing, Post press inline operations, must have above average computer skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Makeready and run digital web printing press. Examines job order to determine quantity to be printed, stock specifications, colors, coatings, variable, special printing instructions and finishing. Measures paper thickness and profiles all papers to be run on press Develop, adjust, follow and maintain procedures for the entire digital printing workflow. Starts press, examines printed copy for content, color quality, variability, backup, and registration. Adjusts unwinder, file hole punching unit, WEKO unit, and the inline cutter / Stacker to ensure precise printing at optimal speed. Understands finishing processes for inline finishing. Performs job duties in accordance with company safety rules. Performs proper and required maintenance as well as thorough cleaning of press and surrounding area Performs other duties as assigned as well as occasional overtime

The Digital Web Press Operator manages operation of the wide web HP T-240 PageWide digital press with an inline cutting / stacking station Responsible for the efficient operation of printing press which consists of running print in accordance with specification.
