Job Description
The role:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building a strong pipeline of prospects and closing new business deals in the assigned territory (500k-800k per year) on a consistent monthly and quarterly basis.
The responsibilities:
- Cultivating sales by nurturing inbound leads and leveraging a multi-channel, multi-touch outbound prospecting strategy
- Converting leads to customers by demonstrating the immense value of the StreamSets technology for their business (quotes, proposals, Business Value Assessments)
- Engaging with customers via calls and web conferences to drive the sales process
- Collaborating with internal Marketing, Solution Engineering, Products and Field teams to identify and strategically target new, high-value opportunities within your territory
- Partner with StreamSets’s Customer Success team to analyze customer health, identify gaps and opportunities for upsell and cross sell and risk for churn
- Manage your quarterly pipeline and complete forecasting reports with your manager
Requirements

- Able to convey the StreamSets value proposition to business and highly technical decision makers
The experience:
- 1+ years of closing or account management experience in our domain (open source technology, big data, data integration)
- Successfully carried similar quota and deal sizes in the past
