Corin is seeking a Robotic Capital Sales Executive who will be responsible for the pre- and post-sales engagement with the intended purpose of the customer acquisition of the OMNIBotics capital equipment system, affiliated products and support services. This individual must work closely with the commercial team to coordinate account targeting, stakeholder interactions during the sales process, internal financial modeling, the offer construction and negotiation, as well as the implementation for each individual customer. We have our US head office in Raynham, as well as offices in Tampa and Milpitas. This role will require 75% travel around the US.

Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.

The key responsibilities of the Robotic Capital Sales Executive are to

  • Manage and close capital sales cycles for products that sell for greater than $500,000.00 US.
  • Sell a breakthrough technology and establish a new marketplace.
  • Move sales through a budgeted and an off-budget process.
  • Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities and effectively manage leads generated by the company or individually.
  • Build and manage, a funnel of capital sales opportunities sufficient to ensure that annual quotas are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with the company’s prospective amp; installed base customers and leverage relationships to drive recurrent sales cycles for the company’s orthopedic robotic products.
  • Lead a cross functional team in executing the sales cycle, as well as post-sale installation and training activities at customer site.
  • Transition ownership of account to local territory reconstructive implant sales team after installation.
  • Effectively partner with marketing and sales management to build the strategies and selling tools that will further support increased selling effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with operations and deployment team to ensure delivery and implementation of new systems as needed by customer.
  • Work with Finance team to ensure ROI and proper documentation has been approved.
  • Create and maintain Sales Forecasts.

Requirements

The ideal Robotic Capital Sales Executive will have / be

  • A minimum education of a BA or BS degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience and demonstrated a high level of achievement in Surgical or Medical capital equipment sales, selling to the executive suite of Hospitals, including CEO / CFO / COO / CMO / CNO.
  • Extensive experience of the use of financing and leasing products to close business.
  • Demonstrated the ability to convert capital sales with quotas assigned.
  • Demonstrated the ability to interact intelligently and with credibility with surgeons and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated the ability to translate clinical benefits of products to economic value to the health care provider and is comfortable with financial based selling tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospital financial operations and acumen.
  • Experience in surgical orthopaedics or other surgical procedures highly desirable.
  • Previously managed a large territory as this role entails 50-75% travel
  • Outstanding analytical, presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner easily adaptable to change
