Job Description

Our mission is to save the lives of millions of people who are currently at risk of being killed or critically injured by a defective airbag in their vehicles. We’re looking for a Regional Supervisor to oversee a team of drivers that will play a pivotal role in raising awareness about this deadly, recalled airbag.

You’ll be joining at the eve of a massive expansion of one of the most innovative programs the automotive industry has ever seen. You will supervise the team that identifies vehicles with recalled airbags and notifies their owners of the serious risk. Your team will play a crucial role in getting these deadly airbags off the road for good. Your job will be to manage the operations of our Northern California region and enable the team’s success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage a remote team of drivers based in Northern California markets.
  • Hire, train, and/or terminate drivers as needed.
  • Coordinate operational needs of drivers through daily touchpoints over the phone and in-person meetings as needed.
  • Monitor driver and community safety, operational costs, and performance metrics.
  • Hold the team accountable for performance goals while staying under budget.
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership team regarding regional performance.
  • Identify and implement tactics to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • Participate in new market expansions as needed.
  • Act as a first point of contact for drivers if/when issues arise in the field.
  • Enable a swift and efficient feedback loop between the Operations and Product/Engineering teams.
  • Participate in setting goals and determining strategy for your team.
  • Plan and execute short-term projects and experiments within your region.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs.
  • Other responsibilities, as necessary to ensure the health and success of your team, yourself, and the company.

Things We Look For When Hiring

  • Acting in service to people and communities is a core value of yours, and drives many of the decisions you make on a daily basis.
  • You believe that open and honest communication is important in building the right kind of culture.
  • You know that healthy teams are successful teams and you invest your energy in your team’s wellbeing.
  • You’re committed to growing as a person and as a professional, even by just 1% at a time.
  • You’re biased towards action and know the difference between waiting for the facts and analysis paralysis.
  • You accept and celebrate success and failure with the same level of vigor and pass no judgment on the outcome, but rather focus on the process of growth and improvement.
  • You act as a steward of the business and take ownership of the work that you do, and the team that you’re on.
