Job Description

We are seeking a Paid Media Specialist who can execute campaigns across paid channels amp; translate data into strategy, analyzing and reporting on marketing programmes and campaigns to measure ROI and improve our customer acquisition and retention strategies.

The Paid Media Specialist will work with the rest of the marketing team to develop and launch paid media and PPC campaigns that effectively and efficiently achieve Cloudsmith’s strategic business goals. This role is responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and projections for anything from brand awareness to lead generation campaigns.

The successful candidate will provide actionable insights from quantitative work, including reporting, forecasting, A/B testing, website analytics, media optimization, market sizing, customer segmentation, and campaign analysis. We’re looking for a data-driven, growth-oriented mind who gets psyched about optimizing campaigns through multivariate testing and gets excited each time conversion rates increase.

What You'll Do:

  • Use a data-driven approach to identify, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to acquire new customers efficiently
  • Own the entire paid media and paid search strategy, including the creation of the initial strategy, budget and forecasts for paid acquisition programs, ultimately enabling ROI optimization
  • Manage the day to day operations for optimizing bidding strategies, executing tests and enhancing campaigns
  • Utilize data to optimize existing campaigns, efficiently create new ads amp; promotions, and iterate on the creative amp; targeting testing cycles
  • Analyze key metrics daily, identify trends and execute a test to improve the target CPA
  • Manage paid search and display marketing budgets by allocating spend for Cloudsmith across campaigns, keywords and ad groups
  • Monitor all metrics and KPIs and focus on scaling channels and optimizing for efficiency and lifetime value
  • Manage all paid acquisition channels including Google Adwords PPC amp; Display, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and Linkedin
  • Identify and test into new media channels
  • Execute and monitor performance for campaigns across paid search amp; social, display amp; affiliate channels.
  • Use best practices and test-and-learn initiatives to optimize search engine performance
  • Report on effectiveness of paid campaigns, including creative learnings

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
  • 4-6+ years of relevant work experience, including specific experience at scale in paid search
  • B2B SaaS experience desired; in-house experience preferred
  • Experience with tag management (Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience in owning the entire paid strategy and budget, including hands-on execution
  • Expertise in automated bidding, PPC, GDN and Social Display Ads
  • Experience analyzing data and using tools, including Google Analytics, to track and monitor campaign success.
  • Experience producing comprehensive reports and dashboards to deliver results, findings and insights to senior management
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail, driving projects to completion under deadlines.
