Job Description

Fellow is searching for an eCommerce Growth Marketing Manager to join our eCommerce team, with a focus on growing our direct-to-consumer channels. The growth marketer is responsible for driving demand to DTC channels which will result in efficient revenue generation, new customer acquisition and retention.

The role spans paid social, paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, email marketing, retention marketing and landing page optimization while assisting with Amazon Advertising.

Growth marketing is highly collaborative at Fellow, working closely with our creative amp; content teams, as well occasionally offering insights to other teams such as product development and wholesale. The growth marketer reports to the Director of eCommerce.

On a day-to-day basis, the role involves:

  • Paid media management, directing and collaborating with agencies to optimize performance
  • Ensure DTC funnels are fed by running and tuning always-on demand generation campaigns
  • Analyze and interpret performance data to then implement improvements -- either yourself or with the team
  • Quantitative modeling and business case development for new growth initiatives
  • A/B experimentation and other growth marketing techniques to improve key growth metrics
  • Monitor and manage budgets and spend efficiency across growth marketing channels

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE DURING COVID, WE WOULD PREFER SOMEONE LOCATED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO AREA BUT ARE OPEN TO OTHER CANDIDATES IN CALIFORNIA. Fellow is currently working remotely as long as required due to the pandemic. When safe to return, we expect this role to be based from our Mission District HQ.

Responsible for:

  • Acquisition marketing through paid social, paid search, affiliate marketing, SEO and awareness campaigns.
  • Manage paid search agency providing strategic, audience, and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with Amazon channel manager on Amazon ad strategy
  • Analyze and improve Fellowproducts.com and Amazon listing SEO.
    • Provide SEO guidance, from a copy/content perspective to internal marketing teams and a technical perspective for future website development.
  • Develop and implement email marketing/retention marketing strategies to understand total customer journey, and align acquisition campaigns with cohorts driving LTV.
  • Lead growth marketing campaigns from concept, business case approval to the project management of its launch.
  • Support brand marketing team by communicating performance marketing best practices to guide shoots and campaigns and report back on results from creative testing.
    • Collaborate on the creation of assets through briefs, storyboards, and copy direction.
  • Provide growth marketing thought leadership across multiple sales channels.
    • Suggest and lead testing of new top-of-funnel campaign ideas to create new acquisition channels.
    • Share insights with the brand marketing team, as well as periodically reporting to company leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years e-commerce growth marketing experience, either at a brand or agency, with a focus on selling physical products.
  • Hands on experience managing paid social and/or paid search campaigns with budgets greater than $100k/month.
  • Analytics mindset with proficiency with e-commerce analytics tools like Google Analytics, paid media analysis tools, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, building/optimizing scalable processes.
  • An appreciation of specialty coffee is a plus!
