Fellow is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance and Accounting team and support our revenue
operational processes and implement efficiency improvements to scale for growth.
The Accounting Specialist will partner with various business teams including Sales, Marketing and E-comm,
Operations to optimize the Revenue recognition process in a fast-growing company. The Accounting Specialist will be
expected to exhibit high professional standards and attention to detail while working on numerous routine and ad
hoc accounting functions.
PLEASE NOTE: Individuals should be located in the Bay area.
Responsibilities
Own critical month-end revenue accounting close tasks, journal entries, reconciliations, and
fluctuation analyses
Ensure revenue is recognized and deferred in accordance with USGAAP and the Company’s
accounting policies
Prepare and maintain various reconciliations related to revenue accounts
Support day-to-day accounting and operations of order-to-cash and revenue cycle for all Sales
Channels
Ensure sale orders and customer invoices are created based on accurate information
Support the Sales Reps on collection efforts, while implementing collection strategies and solutions
based on history and nature of delinquent accounts
Oversee sales commissions and royalties’ operations including calculating commissions, royalties
and ensuring proper documentation Oversee sales commissions operations including calculating

Transition transactional processes from outsourced service providers
Support internal/external audits of the company’s financial statements, including preparation of
audit schedules and other audit deliverables as requested
Be a versatile player in the revenue space that can perform various tasks ranging from routine close
procedures to ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
3+ years of accounting experience
BA or BS degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
US GAAP experience
Ability to work with and analyze large data sets
Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
Practical experience working with Quickbooks, CIN7, bill.com is highly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly and succinctly document processes and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively and be able to build strong cross-functional relationships
Systems/Tech savvy, able to remotely onboard, troubleshoot tech and communication tools semi-independently.
Experience in a high growth, rapidly changing work environment required. Must be able to work with a strong sense of urgency.
Must have the ability to proactively and creatively approach problem solving in order to execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Must have excellent critical thinking and time management skills, as well as strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and be able to build strong relationships across the organization.
E-comm experience is a plus
