We bring the specialty coffee experience to people's homes via beautifully designed coffee ware that marries form and function. We currently have a small, passionate, and committed team that loves to see coffee tools come to life.

  • While we’re currently working from home right now due to COVID-19, you’ll eventually be working out of our industrial-style office in SF’s Mission District.

The Role:

Fellow is looking for a Digital Production Designer with a strong background in digital E-commerce design. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for production and developing pixel perfect creative assets for final delivery. Showcase your design skills by attaching your portfolio to the employment application or including a link in your cover letter. Strong collaboration, extreme attention to detail, self management, and organizational skills are critical for this role. Fellow creates almost everything for the brand, digital, print, events and internal communications in-house and is looking for candidates that can meet a diverse range of production needs. This position will join our Marketing team based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Creative Producers, Creative Leads, and external partners to finalize creative assets and manage production deliverables across email, websites, social, Amazon, digital ads and other digital touchpoints.
  • Exports and preps all files and creative assets for delivery and troubleshoot issues with files.
  • Catch discrepancies within art files and ensure errors do not go into production.
  • Maintain and develop templates to keep a consistent brand identity/experience across all digital channels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Fellow’s website and how to prepare the highest quality assets at the smallest file size. Ensure that all type meets accessibility standards and responsive site requirements.
  • Understanding of specs and red lines. Develop style sheets and hand off assets to development teams, as needed. QA work with developers to ensure designs and creative assets are rendered appropriately.
  • Organize files on the Design Server. Keep a library of digital assets and requirements.
  • Maintain best practices for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, and production specifications.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing asset creation process, share ideas with key stakeholders and implement across design initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of design experience within an external or in-house agency or creative department.
  • Experience producing a large number of versions for different digital channels across a creative campaign. Ensure asset optimization for various platforms and mediums.
  • Experience designing and finalizing most if not all the following digital touchpoints: email, websites, social, Amazon, and digital ads.
  • Strong typography, composition and layout skills to ensure integrity of initial design is preserved through build out of assets.
  • Extreme attention to details to ensure work is accurate and meets all requirements.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment balancing tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions while being receptive to feedback and direction.
  • Strong time management skills and pacing to deadlines.
  • Expert skills in full Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or similar program) required on a Mac OSX platform.
