We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, pro-active approach, has the ability to multitask and can work under pressure with a diligent and methodical approach to their duties with excellent housekeeping. You will need excellent people skills and must be comfortable supporting all levels of the user community. The front office environment is predominately Mac based and the ideal candidate will have 3+ years commercial experience in the creative industry providing general day to day support for Mac, Windows, software amp; hardware, telephony, video conferencing and the cloud.

The candidate will have experience of imaging computers and configuring user accounts. We are looking for a candidate in the NYC area that will be responsible for taking delivery of company machines, imagining and configuring them before having them collected by courier to deliver to our staff and freelancers. Experience using JAMF would be beneficial.


Duties Include

  • Log and maintain a record of support calls through our helpdesk system
  • Provide a broad range of 1st and 2nd line technical support to 100+ users
  • Escalate support calls efficiently to ensure they are resolved by other members of IT
  • Train and assist users in a number of different software packages
  • Ensure network, server and services are always accessible to users
  • Raise any on-going user issues and common problems with the IT Manager so that they can be addressed to prevent future occurrences
  • Setup new user computers and phones, taking delivery of hardware and configuring before being collected
  • Maintain audits of hardware and software
  • Ad Hoc IT tasks as and when required/appropriate

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting Mac OSX 10-11
  • Experience with Slack, Zoom, Adobe CC
  • Experience with JAMF, MS Office 365
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Role will be remote in the immediate
