Job Description
This position will support research-related tasks as well as provide assistance in the implementation of campaigns for Learning Science Weekly, an outreach initiative that delivers research-backed best practices to help create effective and impactful learning experiences in corporate learning and customer education. LSW is sponsored by Intellum, a global learning technology provider and the leader in customer and employee education.
- Conduct research related to the science of learning
- Write literature reviews and meta analyses
- Contribute research summaries to the Learning Science Weekly newsletter
- Identify practical implications of research findings
- Assist in the development of the Learning Science Weekly findings database
- Gather quantitative and qualitative data for ongoing research studies
- Analyze and communicate study findings
Success for this position is measured by newsletter production, research output, and contributions to the overall goals of the Learning Science department.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience researching learning in multiple contexts
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage several projects and initiatives at once, executing against a broad roadmap
- Adaptability, ability to navigate and thrive amidst change and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Excellent presentation and synthesis skills, with an ability to adapt content to meet the target audience
Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Research, or a related field
