Relationship Growth Manager job description a Business Development role

Harbr is growing rapidly and recently completed their Series A funding led by Tiger Global and Dawn Capital. We have product-market fit and an extremely large market opportunity in front of us. We’re looking for someone to join the Harbr sales organization to help grow and expand both our clients and Harbr’s selling opportunity by being a strategic lead in the Harbr Network Selling motion.

As part of the sales team your primary focus is to find network sales opportunities with our clients that includes partnering closely with our clients sales organizations and leadership to identify new opportunities for their teams to sell the Harbr platform and ultimately position the value of a Harbr data exchange at their client sites.

You will be working closely with our customers, sales, and customer success teams so experience in client facing roles is a distinct advantage. Your skills will be in listening to how our clients work, understanding their dynamics and drivers, networking across organizations and becoming a trusted partner to support their commercial ambitions - earning Harbr the right to work closely with their clients in turn.

Requirements

Role and responsibilities:


  • Identify and execute the Harbr Network Sale with Named Clients (in particular Harbr Data Vendor clients)
  • Notify the sales team of new sales and cross-selling opportunities - some of which may be directly executable by you
  • Understanding our clients’ sales messaging and supporting clients’ relevant sales people in their individual approach to their customers by personally supporting their pitch of Harbr to new clients and prospects on a case by case basis
  • Where needed, working with the client and the customer success team to create and enforce plans that will help our clients sell their data platforms that are built on Harbr
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and customers
  • Become familiar with the competition to stay ahead of them
  • Encourage high-sales and good customer service practices
  • Create strategies and work with clients to boost their brand
  • Help promote and maintain a positive company image

Required Experience
  • Intuitive to customers needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • A background in customer service or sales with demonstrated success in driving change in complex enterprise environments
  • Confident in pitching and eventually in demo’ing the Harbr offering / able to work with colleagues to refine pitch approach and tune demo to client interests
  • Must understand and monitor relationships across the client - focus on customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
