To address the growing needs of our customers the Company recently moved operations to Austin Texas and operates a 275,000 square foot warehouse.

Job Description
The Receiving/Inventory Clerk is responsible for the receiving of materials, inventory accuracy and services for CM through the development and implementation of strategic inventory process, and management of inventory/manufacturing customer relationships. This position will be responsible for receiving, inventory control, and collaborating with department managers to ensure inventory control. This individual needs to have a high energy, hands-on style for an entrepreneurial environment. This individual must possess the ability to keep pace with rapidly growing demand and a fast-paced environment.

General Duties and Responsibilities
Employees with the title of Receiving/Inventory Clerk must demonstrate proficiency, and meet all productivity and quality requirements for receiving and inventory of supplies, materials and services to support CM business lines, including but not limited to:

  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Uses a variety of software tools and applications to ensure accuracy of material receipts and completed orders pending shipment.
  • Expedites material through the receiving and incoming inspection process to ensure availability for production.
  • Maintains and updates the purchase order systems when shipments are received.
  • Ensures order numbers are matched appropriately and all orders are complete to ensure accurate delivery to manufacturing.
  • Handles parts with or without material handling equipment, requiring safety and delicate handling procedures.
  • Ensures the orderly stocking and/or efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials/products.
  • Ensures all material transactions are completed accurately in systems.
  • Processes inventory paperwork.
  • Updates management on all inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis.
  • Ensures proper routing through the non-conforming material process flow.
  • Validates returns and sets up systems correctly in regards to basic requirements.
  • Schedules and conducts cycle counts.
  • Conducts physical counts of reported inventory inaccuracies.
  • Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Conduct inventory audits on a routine basis to ensure supplies and materials are available.
  • Coordinate with Production team and other departments to ensure a consistent and continuous supply chain.
  • Ensure that work area is kept neat, clean, safe, and organized at all times.
  • Maintain courteous and positive relationship with all co-workers and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor/Management.
