Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible for the success of designing and launching products built on the Platform. The platform is a medical IoT, cloud-based platform for the life science industry, and is used to manage, process, and store patient health and medical device data to be used for patient diagnosis and treatment. products include industry-specific solutions, indication-specific therapies, and capabilities for business users, providers, and patients.
You will work closely with Product team members and Software Engineering teams to ensure solutions are designed, architected, documented and implemented according to medical device design and development requirements from regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term logical reference data models.
- Evaluating existing application solution, perform data profiling/analysis activities
- Working with technical product manager and software architect teams to create conceptual data model and data process flows.
- Establish, modify, and maintain a conceptual data model
- Lead and participate in design workshops to facilitate and articulating modelling and architecture principles
- Mapping logical model into meta-data driven physical data model.
- Lead the effort to implement core reusable components.
- Define, develop and refine software implementation practices and software design patterns to ensure consistency within BI application solution offers.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineering to transform software-based medical devices requirements into formally documented detailed requirements, design, and development stories
- Support System Engineering and Software Engineering to lead daily activities with software development and test team to deliver complex, high-performing, and reliable software solutions
- Work with software architects to create the traceability of software requirements into software architecture and design specifications all the way down to base software units.
- Provide support for accurate and complete software verification and validation at the system and unit levels
Requirements:
- 3 5 years of hands-on software development and/or systems engineering experience
- 3 years hands-on experience with logical and physical relational data modeling
- Expert knowledge of metadata model-driven software system and object-oriented software design
- Some experience with latest iOS and Android tech
- Experience in building micro-services using Spring boot framework.
- Experience with RDBMS and No SQL databases.
- Experience working in cloud such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong hands-on programing skills in Python and Java.
- Preferred experience in software medical device development classified as Class 2 and/or Class 3 medical device
- Preferred with knowledge of FDA design control requirements (21 CFR 820.30) as applied to medical device software and medical device regulations including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Cybersecurity, IEC 62366, and IEC 62304
- Experience in working with FHIR standard and API.
- Experience in working in an environment following Agile methodology
- Preferred with experience with Software FMEA process
- Familiarity with SaMD development
- Experience working with nearshore and/or offshore development partners
- Familiarity with health and data privacy regulations
