The role:
The Treasury Associate will assist the Treasury Supervisor in the management of all Treasury functions, including:
- Coordinating with various departments for proper flow of cash and treasury portfolio management
- Facilitation of information and support to other departments including Investor Relations, Fund Accounting and Operations
Process direct cash payments electronically while maintaining proper balances
Daily Reporting functions
Requirements
Experience Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Efficient office management, record keeping and organizational skills
Attention to detail with the ability to transact without errors
Knowledge of banking/cash management systems and financial markets
Ability to work in a team and individual setting (small department)
Motivated self-starter, flexibility of schedule as required
Ability to develop and maintain good working relations with other departments, as well as with banks and brokers
Strong computer skills Excel and other business tools
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1-3 years work experience ideally in treasury/cash management role
