1871 is seeking a professionally driven, detail-oriented, and highly motivated intern to support its Experience Team. The 1871 Experience Team works closely with all business parts to advocate and support our member community based on their needs and benefits.

Duties and responsibilities

  • This intern will be working specifically within Growth Membership to support general account management and member marketing and event needs. Project steps are:
  • Create a strategic and scalable process for growth member content promotion
  • Support the launch of the growth member experience survey
  • Create a strategic and scalable process for growth member events

General Responsibilities: - Support growth member marketing needs in collaboration with experience + marketing team; Support growth member events in collaboration with experience + events team; CRM upkeep for account management purposes

Specific responsibilities:

  • Support experience team to ensure that all growth member marketing is included in content strategy and built-in for the remainder of the year
  • Track and manage all marketing activity for each account within CRM
  • Track and manage all event attendee info for each account within CRM
  • Support experience team in the development, management, and execution of growth member events

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal (including phone work), and written communication skills
  • Basic computer processing skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet
  • College coursework or comparable work experience preferred
  • Previous internship experience is preferred
  • Preference will be given to college juniors and seniors
  • Interest in the Tech/Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Sectors

Time: Monday - Thursday, 10 am-4 pm (hours and time commitment may be flexible if agreed upon by the supervisor and the internship candidate prior to the start of the internship)
