Take ownership of the pension health and welfare (PHamp;W) calculation process, as well as reporting and remittances. The Pensions amp; Health Services Associate will be responsible for the PHamp;W rates in all of the systems used, as well as the proper calculation of benefits on reports and union remittances. They will make the pension contributions to the union and guilds on a timely basis and work with the unions and guilds on any audit requests or other issues and questions regarding the pension calculation and remittances.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process pension contributions in a timely fashion, and deliver the necessary background reporting to the applicable unions and guilds.
- Setup the correct PHamp;W rates in all systems and provide quality assurance functions for all benefit calculations.
- Work direct contact with the pension plans, our clients and their employees, answering their questions and providing service as necessary.
- Interface with our Payroll and Accounting teams to manage check requests and check distribution, and to assure the accuracy of information.
- Support the Development team by uploading pension data to our Pension Automation system.
- Work with the payroll staff to train them on the correct union benefits, scale rates and other rules.
- Assist the team in other areas such as: Pension audits and records maintenance
- Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field plus 3 to 5 years of experience
- Experience with the following areas: PHamp;W Payment Process, PHamp;W Setup and Support, as well as Miscellaneous Functions including:
- Reporting, check requests, familiarity with SAG studio codes
- Excellent customer service skills both internally and externally and the ability to train and communicate effectively.
- Profound organizational skills and the ability to manage requests from multiple parties simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with the unions and guilds and ensure the good reputation of Extreme Reach
