Job Summary-
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering the wage and salary program for the organization. Studies, evaluates jobs, and determines pay grades for new and existing jobs. Participates in compensation surveys, audits evaluation of jobs and application of existing job classes to individuals. Provides support to other HR professionals within the organization regarding compensation issues and needs is a trusted resource and go-to partner for team members, managers, and leaders and is viewed as a credible and influential partner within the human resources team.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities-
Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, strategies and techniques of compensation administration
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a range of leaders and employees internal and external.
Work independently and as part of a team, solve problems, make decisions and complete assignments on time
Working knowledge of and ability to interpret Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations related to Human Resources, Fair Labor Standards, and Compensation
Knowledge of Human Resource and Compensation processes and best practices using technology (HRIS) – Workday
Ability to manage databases; develop charts, tables and graphs
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work, with interruptions
Detail-oriented ability, analytical aptitude
Ability to classify jobs, conduct internal/external audits and surveys, and evaluate data integrity to present findings to key internal stakeholders
Lead and manage company merit compensation review processes
Additional Human Resources duties may be assigned as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this position, we recommend the following:
5+ years of experience within the Human Resources
Thorough knowledge of labor compensation legislation
Experience working in a fast pace environment
BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
