Job Description

WWC Global is seeking a senior-level acquisition analyst to serve on a contract serving the U.S. Coast Guard in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform all program related activities for the US Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Acquisition Program.
  • Plan, develop and execute acquisition related policies, processes, and documents including internal/external business processes, contract requirements and financial requirements at all stages of the acquisition program’s life cycle.
  • Support day-to-day acquisition management activities. In preparation of upcoming Acquisition Decision Events (ADEs), review and revise all current MSAM and DHS 102-01-001 required documents and plans, review and finalize Request For Proposal (RFP), source selection plan/evaluation strategy, and other contract package elements.
  • Assist the Government in support of data and Contractor Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) review processes and workflow management, including review of shipbuilder CDRL deliverables upon submittal for completeness and report discrepancies
  • Prepare briefs and presentations for internal USCG directorates and commands as well as external USCG entities

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • At least ten (10) years of related experience with a minimum of one (1) years of experience supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent).
  • Experience in the planning, developing and execution of acquisition efforts to complete acquisition related documents, internal/external business processes, contract requirements and financial requirements at all stages of an acquisition programs life cycle, in accordance within the Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM)/DOD 5000 series framework.
  • Be proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint.
  • General familiarity with DHS and/or DOD Procurement/Contracting.
  • General familiarity with DHS/and or DOD Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • Availability: ASAP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Direct experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard or another shipbuilding program.
