Job Description

This is a remote role for anyone based in the United States.

Fonoa is building a next-generation API solution that enables automating a manual and laborious process for companies operating globally, with tax being at the heart of our product. We’re already available in 80+ countries to enable businesses to meet their indirect tax obligations and are looking to continue to expand.

The role:

We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our newly formed growth team, with the mission of enabling Fonoa reach potential customers and businesses that we’d love to sell to. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand on your existing sales and lead generation skills, helping scout the market, driving thoughtful and well-curated sales campaigns, and qualify any inbound customers to determine how our solution can help them with automate taxes.

You will be working closely with a team of high-performing sales professionals and develop a deep understanding of our product, competition, and successful sales processes.

We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global e-commerce and looking for people with a hunger for a new challenge and drive to solve a ubiquitous problem for companies selling globally.

What you will be doing:

  • Picking up inbound leads and qualifying using our sales playbook
  • Conducting market research, prospecting, and helping us build a target list of potential businesses that could leverage the Fonoa solution. This will be a mix of global SaaS, E-commerce, Gig-economy, Marketplaces, etc
  • Being a commercial representative for Fonoa, building market and product knowledge
  • Work closely with the Revenue and Growth to learn and develop innovative sales strategies to reach our audience

Requirements

  • At least one year’s experience in a sales-related role
  • You see sales as a long-term career and have the drive and passion to succeed.
