THE ROLE:

The Analyst role in the FPamp;A team at Athletic Greens requires someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented and excited to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment. This is a new role reporting to our Manager, FPamp;A and will collaborate closely with our executive leadership team. The candidate will partner within all levels and areas of the FPamp;A and Accounting teams as well as with various business partners across the company.

FPamp;A at Athletic Greens is responsible for delivering mission-critical analytics and insights to leadership and key stakeholders. The FPamp;A team leads the development of the overall budget, forecast and mid to long-range planning and additionally assists with in-depth strategic analysis to support decision-making.

This role will provide dedicated FPamp;A support to our Marketing, Partnerships and Product teams and own the forecasting of new customer acquisition and recurring customer subscriptions. This role will also be partnering closely with our Data Analytics team and overseeing the evaluation of business performance and other key analyses (e.g., business cases, dashboards) that are strategic and of high importance to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will be based in the US, have a passion for health and wellness and will be intrinsically motivated as this role is 100% remote.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • You will be the FPamp;A partner supporting revenue, marketing and customer metrics across the business.
  • Own and iterate upon our revenue model using key customer metrics (LTV, CAC, retention, payback) and collaborate with our Marketing, Partnerships, Product and Data Analytics teams.
  • Develop scalable financial models and reports that support monthly business reviews, annual planning, quarterly budgeting and monthly/weekly forecasting processes.
  • Quantification of risks and opportunities including customer analytics and product margin initiatives.
  • Closely collaborate within FPamp;A, leadership team and cross-functionally to provide strategic analysis, insights, reporting, and analytics that influence business decision-making.
  • Establish and manage processes for project prioritization, including business case development, cash allocation, monthly business reviews, dashboard and leadership team reporting.
  • Support our inventory planning and purchasing team with up to date demand forecasting at a SKU level.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and deep dive reviews to improve the accuracy of our forecasting.
  • Advocate for the FPamp;A team within other areas of the company for such needs as process and systems improvements, data integrity and timelines.
  • Proactively research and resolve financial inquiries, issues and ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Look to automate, streamline and constantly improve all FPamp;A processes.
  • Foster entrepreneurial spirit across the company and lead cultural awareness towards developing FPamp;A to be the heartbeat of the organization.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in FPamp;A, data analytics or investment banking.
  • Excitement to be part of a new function in a startup environment and comfortable working remotely.
  • Experience with modeling recurring subscription revenue in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer and/or CPG.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to switch gears in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to gain business insights to support decision making and forecasting.
  • Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability.
  • Knowledge in all things MS Office and Google Suite and experience with FPamp;A planning tools (i.e. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
  • Strong skill set with analytical tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) and experience using SQL are a major plus.
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy with desire to take ownership in a results oriented environment.
