Job Description

The Allurion Director of Global Certification amp; Compliance oversees the creation, deployment and development of added value concepts and process improvements which ensure that there is compliance to what is trained by the Professional Education team and that all delegates are certified in the skills, knowledge and competencies trained, following each learning intervention.

A subject matter expert in adult learning, leveraging modern LMS software, certification programs and training follow up methodologies, the Director ensures that both external delegates (HCPs) and internal delegates (Allurion staff and distributors) pass digital, written and practical testing, and participate in effective follow up that sets them up for success, allows us to track learning and performance, and assess gaps in learning and ability. This also involves looking at the correlation between commercial performance metrics achieved/missed and training completed/training test results.

The Director collaborates and coordinates activities with Allurion internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams; compiles required reporting requests, adheres to compliance policies, and effectively manages resources.

The Director also serves as an additional resource for the Professional Education department to conduct physician and internal personnel training, facilitate the Allurion Academy and Allurion Essentials events, and support new market launches.

The role reports to Matt Wright - the Executive Director of Global Professional Education acting as deputy for the department’s leadership - whilst working closely and collaboratively with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Business Excellence and Clinical Program Excellence.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • One Main Goal: Drive increased effectiveness, productivity and profitability by implementing digital and physical certification and compliance initiatives resulting in sustainable profitable growth - measured through sell-out and sell-in performance.

SALES PERFORMANCE:

Collaborates with the commercial leadership team to develop tactical digital and physical education, certification and complaince solutions to achieve growth goals in Allurion accounts - measured through lagging KPIs (below). Critical skill to drive sustainable profitable growth by developing high account and commercial team skills, knowledge and competencies. Routinely uses sales performance data to enable corporate data-driven decision making and resource allocation. Time allocation to daily goals is the most valuable skill: planning, proactive project management, efficient communication, and high-ROI activities are critical to productivity in this position.

Build Relationships and alignment:

Demonstrates effective consultative development skills. Develops partnerships with medical affairs, sales, marketing, business excellence and program excellence plus distributor teams. Holds customers and field teams accountable to commitments at the end of training, builds strong business relationships to ensure that compliance and follow up happens in a timely manner, and ensures that customers and reps to become effective highly skilled product advocates. Routinely conducts training needs analysis reviews (TNAs), plus testing (digital, written and practical) and leads execution plans resulting from aligned activities. Fosters relationships with key decision makers internally and externally. Consistently delivers on business plans/agreements with proactive communication and follow-up with all stakeholders.
