Corin US is seeking a Lead Software Engineer
Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip amp; knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics amp; OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.
The main responsibilities of the Lead Software Engineer are to:
- Act as OMNIBotics subject matter expert for a team engaged in building highly scalable, reliable, innovative and visually interactive data driven applications to guide surgical implantation of medical devices including pre and post op.
- Work on software architecture process as well as on development and testing of software code.
- Provide guidance and expertise on best practices for software engineering and product development.
- Understand specific client systems or equipment requirements in order to identify additional product opportunities and upgrades.
- Collaborate with Hardware Engineering to ensure proper support of all HW platforms.
- Work closely with Quality group to tailor the software development roadmap and all development Lifecycle Procedures to ensure compliance with the existing Quality Management System.
- Provide accurate reporting to upper management and participates in setting development roadmap.
- Participate in the development as well as presentation and demonstrations of products to clients.
- Provide customer support for deep technical questions or complaints requiring extensive expertise in the OMNIBotics systems.
Requirements
The ideal Lead software Engineer will have / be:
- A bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering field of study or foreign earned equivalent degree
- A minimum of 36 months agile prior work experience in C++, 3D models, geometric, and graphic libraries, Software build amp; Continuous Integration/Deployment, Software version amp; source control, DevOPS
