Media Buyer

The Digital Marketing Team is where the storytelling of creative, scale of advertising and data amp; analytics connect. We take a data-first approach to everything with the ultimate goal of moving people across all industries and objectives.

BCW is currently looking for a media-savvy Account Coordinator who isn’t afraid to jump in and support our team in bringing that movement to life. The BCW Account Coordinator program is for recent graduates looking to break into the amazing world of PR and specifically, the Digital Marketing space. This is a temporary 6 to 9 month entry-level position with the potential to turn into a permanent full-time position where you will get to work on some of the world's largest and most innovative brands.

What you’ll do:

You’ll be a digital media resource within the company, sought to as a reliable point of contact for planning and buying opportunities. Every day is different on the Performance Media Team. A typical week may consist of executing a paid social campaign for a sports team, a publication partnership for a financial services brand, and planning a quarterly strategy for a healthcare product. Some things you can expect from day to day are:

  • Work closely with the media team to develop strategic channel/media approaches like forming audience targeting lists, recommending channels for certain objectives, and advising creative to promote.
  • Upload, execute and monitor media campaigns with attention to detail
  • Act as a resource and field educational internal and external questions with professionalism
  • Analyze campaign metrics and performance to highlight key takeaways, translating into client-facing communication in email, PowerPoint and Excel reports
  • Develop reliable relationships with vendors and publications
  • Handle operational structures like purchase orders, insertion orders and NDAs
  • Train and attend trainings of direct marketing execution and new product updates, staying up to date on the changing advertising industry

Minimum Requirements:

  • Recent graduates with relevant internship experience and/or 1-2 years of agency media background.
  • Experience working with industry tools (Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads Manager, YouTube, Google Search, Google Display Network, Google Analytics).
  • Understanding of basic media buyer vocabulary, such as performance KPIs, bidding and objectives
  • Ability to eloquently report/translate date to form insights and recommendations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize comfortably within a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly using PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and recommended strategy documents

Bonus:

  • Platform certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, Google AdWords, etc.
  • Experience working with content marketing platforms, such as Taboola, Nativo, StackAdapt or Outbrain
  • Experience working with publications for sponsored partnerships
