Job Description
Armstrong Flooring Inc. is seeking self-motivated team players to join our Lancaster Floor Plant Production team! Employees must be able to work effectively as a team, have good communication skills and willingness to learn/train.
Location: 1067 Dillerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603
Production Associate Salary: $18.00/hour with opportunity for growth after 90 day probationary period
Production
- Inspection, winding and packaging of product.
- Perform inventory functions and material usage accurately.
- Fill in on operations where and when required.
- Clean and organize work areas.
- Perform miscellaneous work as required to support the manufacturing operation.
- Operate Unroll and Rollup equipment of material in process.
- Operate coating, printing and embossing equipment.
- Perform quality checks as required using various tools.
- Observe for and correct root cause of defective material.
- Perform product changeovers and startups.
- Use Panel Mate touch screens for operation of equipment.
- Use computers for data entry.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable lifting or manipulating up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to safely operate mobile equipment such as forklift, ram trucks, platform truck and tractors.
- Must be willing and able to wear all required safety protective equipment .
