Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Project Manager (Virtual Textbook)who will be an integral part of our Anatomage eBook team. We are seeking individuals that can assume the following responsibilities and possess the following skills and characteristics:


Responsibilities:

  • Manages and oversees all team activities of Anatomage eBook projects to ensure completion of the projects on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Responsible for managing scope, roles, schedule, design, testing, and documentation for Anatomage eBook project deliverables
  • Develops detailed project plans
  • Tracks project issues and facilitates or escalates resolutions as necessary
  • Conducts rigorous overview of project quality and gives regular feedback to team
  • Monitors project milestones and generates regular status reports for CEO
  • Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables
  • Identifies, evaluates and manages project risk
  • Additional relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Project Management experience, including experience managing the entire project lifecycle
  • 1+ year of experience managing technology projects in the medical or educational industry (ideally experience with virtual textbook projects)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required (Science, Education, Business etc.)
  • Ability to lead project teams and manage cross-functional teams comprised of Applications, Ramp;D, Sales, Support, etc.
  • Ability to develop and track progress against project plans, scope, timelines, and changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge base of Project Management Methodologies
  • Work is highly independent, may assume a team lead role for the work group
  • Currently this role is remote, with required in person meetings in our Santa Clara office approximately 1 time per week. This position will become a non-remote role in the future. All applicants should be comfortable working remotely and working onsite in Santa Clara.


Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent) is highly preferred
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing technology projects in the medical or educational industry
  • 1+ year experience with virtual textbook project management
  • Experience with video creation or graphic design
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (Science, Education, Business etc.)
