Bully Pulpit Interactive is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Email Marketing team. We're looking for someone who is intellectually curious and flourishes with figuring out how things work. You pay attention to detail and thrive on numbers and analysis. You have a passion for all things digitalespecially emailand love working without constraints. You are always up to date on the latest trends; you’re the kind of person who subscribes to email lists for fun. You’re driven to understand the big picture but want to get your hands dirty by helping to build and launch advanced email programs alongside a team of brilliant digital marketers.

A growing firm with offices in Washington, DC, New York, Chicago and San Francisco, we work alongside our clients to bring integrated communications and advertising campaigns to companies, organizations, and causes from strategy to message to media relations to marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and execution of email campaigns for our non-profit, political, and brand clients.
  • Draft, edit, and copyedit email copy and other content.
  • Assist with the creation of strategic email frameworks and calendaring.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop email and other creative.
  • Manage the email coding and production processes.
  • Analyze email campaign performance to derive strategic insights.
  • Work with digital advertising specialists to tailor our clients’ acquisition and conversion funnels.
  • Create client-ready reports, presentations, and memos
  • Proactively communicate across teams to ensure work is completed on time and meets agency standards

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has/is:

  • Fluent in HTML.
  • Extremely strong writing and copyediting capabilities.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of clients and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to compile and analyze data, particularly email performance metrics.
  • Familiar with email marketing best practices.
  • Experience writing email copy, writing for political candidates and/or non-profit advocacy organizations a plus.
  • Strong Excel and analytical abilities
  • Experience with CRM platforms (such as NGP, EveryAction, NationBuilder, ActBlue, MailChimp, etc.) a plus
  • Familiar with CSS


Experience Level: 1+ years of experience, preferably in an agency environment

Employee Status: Full-Time, exempt

Salary amp; Benefits:

  • The minimum salary expectation for this particular position is $52,000 dependent on relevant experience
