Requirements
Appointment
Prior to being approved as an Agency Producer, a candidate must be fully licensed (property, casualty, life and health licenses).
This can be done while onboarding with Farmers if need be, if there is relevant experience.
All positions are Full Time office positions, in person, in office.
Responsibilities
Willing to do both sales and service of clients.
Calling and emailing clients to keep in touch and address needs and wants
Selling and cross selling of Farmers award winning products and services
Background Check
To be eligible for the Agency Producer Program, potential candidates must pass a background check in accordance with Farmers guidelines, policies and procedures. The background check will cover three (3) major areas:
- State, Federal and County Criminal History
- Regulatory Actions
- Financial Responsibility
The candidate will need to pass all criteria in the Agency Producer Background Review Guidelines to be considered for this program
Preferred Background:- Bachelor's Degree Preferred but not required
- Worked in insurance or an insurance agency for 3+ years
- Sales Leadership
- Property and casualty, and life and health licensed

Financial Interest
- Contract Value determined by the Terms of the Appointment Agreement with Agency Owner.
- Typically follows a Salary plus commissions model.
