Job Description

Droplette is revolutionizing drug delivery: we are building a disruptive needle-free platform technology with groundbreaking applications in cosmetics, gene delivery, and healthcare.

In this new and highly visible role reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Operations Specialist will help drive process improvements leading to greater operational efficiency and scale.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic and data-driven problem solver who loves optimizing processes by analyzing, experimenting, and iterating. Your responsibilities will include supply chain planning, vendor management and demand forecasting.

What You’ll Do:

Sourcing amp; Supply Management

  • Support sourcing events including RFI, RFQ, RFP and direct negotiations.
  • Coordinate supplier business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for sourcing and process improvements.
  • Identify potential suppliers to ensure continuity of supply while taking into account supplier capabilities, cost, and quality.
  • Own contract manufacturing management and communications.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain of a product to ensure there are zero disruptions nor quality issues.

Analytics amp; Reporting

  • Ownership of forecasting for assigned products.
  • Responsible for the ongoing measurement of cost of goods sold as costs fluctuate.
  • Perform inventory analysis and process improvements.
  • Create project dashboards to enable effective project management for all related sourcing activities.

Requirements

What We Seek:

  • 2+ years' experience in consumer electronics or a high volume manufacturing operation .
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with business and financial procedures, including cost of goods sold, forecasting etc.
  • Excellent understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Strong excel/spreadsheet skills, ERP and python experience desired.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-changing environment. Comfortable working with competing priorities.
