Duties:

• Drive the new product development process from concept through launch, including concept development, research, presentation, and execution
• Advocate and lead sustainability initiatives throughout the product lifecycle
• Oversee the design, sourcing, development, production, testing, and delivery of all packaging components
• Address consumer insights amp; market opportunities via granular insights, data amp; analytics
• Work closely with the QA manager to ensure all necessary information from ingredient suppliers, co-manufacturers, and packaging suppliers is secured to meet all launch timelines.
• Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency and speed to market.
• Work with the marketing team on developing business cases for new products; build performance metrics to help advise future development strategies.
• Focus on nurturing and growing PD talents by investing in their development and creating opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

• 8 + years experience in grocery, cosmetic, kitchen hard goods, or similar product development
• Experience in sustainability is highly preferred
• Experienced at managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced, challenging, always changing environment with the ability to shift priorities to meet evolving business needs
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills (cross-departmental as well as C Suite)
• Successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Experience managing, developing, and growing product development teams
