Job Description

The Design Project Manager role is primarily focused on supporting the project management team’s delivery of design projects. Their focus will be on organizing documentation for project initiation, collaboration with the Design team, tracking kick-off progress, budgets and projections are addressed, and aid Program Directors with resourcing. To do this they should have great administrative skills, a creative approach and superb attention to detail.

Requirements

Role amp; Responsibilities:

Managing and delivering projects:
  • Support the initiation work streams for various types of Design projects (spanning print design, corporate branding materials, web production, banner advertising, email marketing campaigns.)
    • Includes monitoring new/incoming request
    • Maintains forms and project details; ensures submissions are complete prior to briefing/kickoff meetings
    • Works collaboratively and closely with the Senior Design and Video PMs and can seamlessly coordinate multiple projects at once
    • Understands Design team structures and can communicate to relevant leads when initiating staffing and project planning
  • Coordination meetings across account team and PMs and facilitates collaboration across teams
  • Assists senior PMs in tracking and responding to project finance needs:
    • Collaborates with GCIH finance to pull reports proactively and flag status to senior leads
    • Assists with projection oversight and cross-team coordination and outreach
    • Supports senior PMs with initiating/ongoing coordination across freelancer/vendor agreements and creating POs
  • Aides with asset library/branding maintenance and organization

Experience amp; Skills Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience working in project management, resourcing or other operational roles for creative teams
  • Experience using project management tools, budget/time tracking tools
  • Understanding of the creative production process
  • Experience working in the Adobe Creative suite is ideal
  • Experience in an agency environment preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • Ideal candidate has a background or understanding of 2D design and creative processes
  • Is comfortable with remote working environment and can navigate Microsoft Office to host and be a part of virtual meetings and ki
