We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Data Processor in our Santa Monica office.

What You'll Do:

  • Cleans, aggregates, merges, and summarizes survey data
  • Uses statistical packages/software (such as SPSS) for tabulation and analysis
  • Handles hierarchical data manipulation and complex weighting
  • Manage, manipulate, and update databases and sample files
  • Uses syntax programming to create efficiencies for data processing and database management
  • Takes initiative to identify and resolve potential data issues/roadblocks
  • Communicates with each department/team to debrief and discuss lessons learned after each project
    and helps drive internal communications regarding best practices
  • Works directly with the team members in the Denver office to prepare data for analysis and presentation using third-party tools and programs

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, data, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3-4 years of prior experience in data processing, database management, and statistical analysis
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and DOS
  • Familiar with various data formats, such as ASCII, CSV, DBF, SPSS, SSS, etc.
  • Experience working in R and SQL
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Knowledge of statistical tests, such as Chi-Square Testing, Analysis of Variance, t-test, z-test, etc.
