We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Data Processor in our Santa Monica office.
What You'll Do:
- Cleans, aggregates, merges, and summarizes survey data
- Uses statistical packages/software (such as SPSS) for tabulation and analysis
- Handles hierarchical data manipulation and complex weighting
- Manage, manipulate, and update databases and sample files
- Uses syntax programming to create efficiencies for data processing and database management
- Takes initiative to identify and resolve potential data issues/roadblocks
- Communicates with each department/team to debrief and discuss lessons learned after each project
and helps drive internal communications regarding best practices - Works directly with the team members in the Denver office to prepare data for analysis and presentation using third-party tools and programs
Requirements
What You'll Need:
- Excellent analytical, communication, data, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3-4 years of prior experience in data processing, database management, and statistical analysis
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and DOS
- Familiar with various data formats, such as ASCII, CSV, DBF, SPSS, SSS, etc.
- Experience working in R and SQL
- Experience programming in Python
- Knowledge of statistical tests, such as Chi-Square Testing, Analysis of Variance, t-test, z-test, etc.
