Reporting to the FPamp;A Director, the COGS Analyst role will provide analytical support to the finance and operations team in order to drive action and superior business performance. The COGS Analyst will be tasked with investigating trends, understanding variances to plan, improve reporting processes, and conveying results.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead in building and managing financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning related to COGS and inventory
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to provide effective analysis of margin trends and variance reporting
• Enhance monthly amp; quarterly internal and external reporting, including driving insightful analyses to explain trends and any variance to plans
• Support monthly close process through close partnership with the broader finance and operations team
• Help to identify key trends and potential risks amp; opportunities across the business
• Assist in creation of ad-hoc analyses for cross functional leaders and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3-5 years in FPamp;A / corporate finance / investment banking / supply chain management
• Extraordinary Excel / PowerPoint / financial modeling skills
• Must be a proactive amp; highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication / collaboration skills required; role involves building strong relationships across the organization
• Industry experience in CPG preferred
• NetSuite or similar ERP system experience preferred
• Experience managing and building Business Intelligence (DOMO) preferred
