The OpportunityWe launched our in-store payment offering in October 2020 with retail partners like Forever 21 and Finish Line. As we continue to grow our in-store presence in 2021, we’re looking for an Associate Manager of Retail Operations amp; Strategy to focus on the impact and efficiency of our retail strategy efforts.
We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin.-Identify opportunities to uplevel the operational excellence of the retail program with an eye to improving processes, escalating key business opportunities, and streamlining cross functional collaboration-Leverage your knowledge of, and ongoing research on retail industry trends to drive program innovation and ensure the Afterpay in-store experience remains best-in-class-Help us to see around corners, collaborating with the Senior Manager of Retail Operations on the evolution of Afterpay’s customer and field team engagement strategies as the program expands into new verticals-Review and analyze key program success metrics to determine effectiveness and scalability. Drive for solutions when performance doesn’t meet targets

You can rattle off 10 businesses getting it right and which tactics you’d borrow, but also what you’d do differently-You are equal parts creative and operational, with a track record of owning and executing solutions to hard problems-You have an entrepreneurial spirit, no task is too small if it drives the business forward-You are comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous environments-6+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, consumer product, or customer experience -focused roles-Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience-High-growth startup and retail and/or ecommerce experience is a plus
