We are looking for a Director to join our insurance team. The insurance team is a rapidly growing part of Lime, critical to the success and expansion of our business globally. This is your opportunity to come in and lead the execution of our risk management strategy. You will be working cross-functionally with colleagues at all levels of the organization to identify, prioritize, and solve problems. Use your analytical skills to develop a deep understanding of our business needs and ensure well-informed decision making. This role reports to the VP of Insurance and Risk Management.What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and manage strategic initiatives relating to measuring, understanding, managing and monetizing risk
- Identify, initiate and own relationships with strategic partners, actuaries and insurers
- Systematize our processes and create dashboards with data tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, etc. ) to help us better understand our business risks and plan for the future
- Help solve our toughest problems related to understanding and managing risk
- Partner with diverse teams from all around our global organization, including Legal, Operations, Product, Government Relations and Finance.
About You
- A structured thinker with strong quantitative reasoning skills, along with the ability to zoom out and see patterns and business impact
- Quantitative insurance experience with a passion for innovating
- Ability to collaborate, and manage cross-functional team projects
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Experience in helping companies identify strategic improvements in their core business, and in implementing those improvements
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP etc.) and presentation tools
- Advanced understanding of commercial lines insurance products
- 5-10 years management consulting and/or startup experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
