About the Customer Team
Adthena is a ‘Customer Value’ oriented business. As such, the Customer team is critical to our success. In our Austin office, this team consists of Account Management and Customer Success roles - both of which are critical to the success of our clients. We work closely together to leverage each other's skills and abilities, ensuring that our clients are successfully achieving their goals. Not only do we work as a close knit, highly functional team, we also contribute to the wider business by working closely with Sales and Marketing to encourage business alignment.
Your role at Adthena
As an individual contributor focused on client retention and growth, you'll work within the customer team, reporting to the Director of Customer, to ensure that our clients are achieving their goals, and ultimately continuing to renew with Adthena year on year. You’ll not only ensure that our clients renew, but also uncover avenues for growth within those clients.More About What You'll Do
  • Understand the goals of the client and their decision maker; where necessary, provide guidance to the client on achievable goals
  • Proactively build and foster relationships with multiple parties at multiple levels within the clients’ organization
  • Negotiate with clients during the renewal phase to ensure a win for both parties.
  • Identify signs that a client may be at risk of not renewing, and develop strategies to address any risk in a timely manner, before the situation becomes critical.
  • Project lead cross-functional teams to resolve client issues
  • Help Customer Marketing in developing compelling customer references and case studies
  • Achieve GRR and Upsell quotas
Here's What We Are Looking For
  • Confident and articulate communicator with proficiency in all forms of client interactions including verbal, email, and face-to-face
  • Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
  • Proficiency using CRM for day-to-day client management and internal communication, strong preference for Salesforce
  • Proven ability to and preference for working collaboratively with tech product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Strong discovery skills with the ability and interest to act as a liaison, advocating for the customer by leveraging any internal resources necessary to anticipate customer needs and solve customer issues
  • Proven success in consultative external client-facing role with the ability to influence C-Suite, utilizing industry best practices and creative thinking
  • Ownership of and success in retention and renewals in SAAS subscription environment)
  • Thought leader who demonstrates the desire to be Smart amp; Always Improving
  • Ability to embrace and influence change, and to thrive in dynamic situations
