The US Federal Alliances amp; Channels Manager will work to recruit, onboard, maintain and foster partner relationships while driving exponential growth in the joint business within the US Federal sector. The US Federal Alliances amp; Channel Manager will be responsible for attaining sales revenue and partner engagement objectives in the US Federal sector and enabling and supporting a network of partners representing Neo4j’s solutions and services in driving such partner sourced, influenced, and fulfilled revenue. Responsibilities:
  • You will be accountable for developing a strategy to generate an incremental sales pipeline, increasing efficiency via sales and technical enablement, joint marketing, post-sales support, and demonstrating how to sell the value of Neo4j.
  • Assess the US Federal sector landscape for appropriate partners to add to the Neo4j partner portfolio in conjunction with Neo4j’s strategic goals and tactical needs.
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline with partners’ sales and marketing teams in the region, coordinating with Neo4j marketing, sales engineering, customer success and other teams as appropriate.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts and prospective partner accounts.
  • Lead joint planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, revenue targets, marketing and business development activities, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship, including coordination with partner sales organizations.
  • Drive Neo4j into Federal System Integrator solutions and technology stacks in collaboration with relevant team members.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including sales engineering, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
Rquirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, alliance or channel sales management; preference for someone with 3+ years of direct sales or pre-sales experience with a proven track record of excellence
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of establishing alliances amp; channel sales programs in the US Federal Sector
  • Strong network of customers and partners in the US Federal sector
  • Solid understanding of US Federal procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship development skills
  • Background in Technology
  • Open Source Software sales or business development experience; preference for someone with Database and/or Data Analytics sales experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills;Results-oriented with experience using qualitative and quantitative metrics with a focus on pipeline, conversion, revenue, and other sales goals
  • Analytically, exceptional organizational skills, with rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
  • Having a strong sense of curiosity and passion for learning
  • Demonstrate aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility with a high EQ and self-awareness.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Excel/Sheets, Word/Documents, PowerPoint/Slides and Partner Relationship Management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to events when needed post-pandemic.
  • University academic degree

  • Expected results and success metrics:Quantifiable improvements in commercial performance by partner and channel, including pipeline growth, velocity and ARR closed by quarter and by year.
